The Adventure Begins!
You are about to discover the amazing story of how this whole thing got started! The origin of network marketing is a fascinating saga created out of a necessity to serve others better. Once you understand how and why it began, you catch the vision of just how big the future truly can be.
Just as network marketing was born out of a need to serve customers better, the Network Marketing Historical Society (NMHS) was born out of a need to serve, not only network marketers, but anyone who wants to know and understand the service model better.
Meet Your Curator, Teacher, And Keeper Of The Archives
Ron Henley is recognized as the World's Foremost Expert on Network Marketing History and is the Founder of the NMHS. He is the co-author of the new book, The Millionaire Training - Golden Principles That Created The Top Network Marketers of Today (2020), where he shares the origins and the lineage of the companies and people who created the service model we now call network marketing.
A third generation network marketer, Ron was introduced to profession in 1968 by his family at age 5. His dad and grandpa built one of the largest teams in their company. He started his own network marketing business at age 17 and has had a passion for the profession for over 50 years.
Over the last half century, he has worked directly with, and been personally mentored by, the original founders and legends of this profession. Over the last five decades, he has amassed an incredible collection of memorabilia and artifacts that capture the origins of network marketing.
Saving Our Proud Heritage
The sad truth is that the proud heritage of network marketing is being destroyed every single day. Seen only as efemora (something of no lasting significance) by people outside of the profession, the vast majority of our genuine treasures are being forever lost or destroyed on a daily basis. We aim to change that through education and awareness.
So many long time veterans of this profession, who have devoted decades of their lives to their craft, have assembled their own amazing memorabilia collections. This compilation of their life's work features irreplaceable, rare, unique, one-of-a-kind items that are a true sight to behold.
Some have these collections displayed in their homes. Others have saved them in attics, garages, storage buildings, etc. As they reach the twilight of their lives, they have no idea what to do with their prized possessions. Some, with tears in their eyes, and seeing no alternative, throw everything away. Some hang on to their treasures, hoping for an answer, only to have them tossed in a landfill somewhere by relatives after they pass away.
Adding to this tragedy are the people who attempt to re-write the true history of our profession and the people who created, maintained, and sustained it. Many of these so-called "authorities" impose their opinions as facts on an unsuspecting public. Some even flat out lie to fit whatever false narrative that serves their purpose.
Fighting against these injustices has become Ron's Magnificent Obsession. The Network Marketing Historical Society (NMHS) is the place of official record where future researchers can get the real story and facts. The NMHS is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, discovery, and learning about the network marketing profession through unparalleled research, collections, exhibitions, and education.
The NMHS fulfills his vision of establishing the Globally Recognized Historical Entity for the profession. It is a place where the true and correct history of network marketing can be taught, learned, explored, and experienced through memorabilia, photos, audio, video, and live events. Through the Network Marketing Historical Society, these precious artifacts can be gathered, restored, preserved, and displayed for the benefit of all.
The Museum and Exhibiton Hall
Now in the development stages, the museum and exhibition hall is set to be opened in Atlanta, Georgia. The vision for this project is worldwide so there will also be an online museum and learning platforms so people unable travel can learn about how our profession began and how bright our future can be.
Once the physical exhibits are up and running, the museum will offer general admission as well as guided tours. These experiences will be designed to meet all attendees' learning objectives and provide personal insights into career pathways that lead toward success in the profession.
We Need Items To Display
We can't do it without you so please help us get the word out! To get this museum up and running, we need items to display. If you know of anyone looking for a home for their network marketing memorabilia, please have them contact:
