A.T.T.A.C.K. Your Success!

It’s no secret that to be a success at anything you must set goals to achieve your desired outcome.

Decide exactly what you want, then write it down in as much detail as your imagination will allow.

It’s also no secret that to achieve your goals you must learn the skills necessary to take you in the direction you have designed.

I will now share with you my “never before revealed” personal formula for success mastery.

Whether it’s by phone, email or in person, people are always asking me the “secret” to success.

The answer is simple…A.T.T.A.C.K!

A = Attitude

If your attitude is not right, you are in for the fight of your life! You MUST have the right attitude if you want to be successful. Don’t get me wrong, having a positive attitude will not give you the magic power to do anything. What it will do is allow you to do everything better than a bad attitude will.

T = Training

You must find a mentor who has already accomplished what you wish to accomplish and learn exactly how they did it. It’s always best if you can learn from your mentor in person, but if that’s not possible, you can learn what you need to know through their books, CD’s, DVD’s and other materials.

Tele-seminars are all the rage right now. It offers top trainers the chance to instruct you and other students without having to fly in and book a meeting room. I have been able to use this method to coach people all over the world that I would never have been able to otherwise.

Another new, cutting-edge technology that will help you have maximum impact is seminars on the web or “webinars.” These can be pre-recorded but the live presentation is phenomenal! You can listen in on the phone while watching on your computer. You see what is on your mentor’s computer screen as you are instructed step-by-step.

The point here is that there are so many ways to learn you really don’t have an excuse for not getting everything you need to get everything you want out of life!

T = Take
A = Action

This is where 99.9% of all success students fail! It amazes me how many people invest the time, money and considerable effort to learn what they need to learn to be successful and then DO NOTHING WITH IT!

Bill Bailey says it better than anyone when he says “Don’t let your knowledge lead to learning or you will become a fool! Let your knowledge lead you to action and you can get rich!”

You MUST take action for the ATTACK formula to work! Read on and you will see exactly how this thing unfolds. I promise you that once you understand this formula, you will NEVER fail to take action on your dreams and goals again!

C = Coaching

Coaching and training are not the same thing. Training gives you the skills you need to achieve your goals. Coaching is where you discuss your results, good or bad, with your mentor for feedback and the fine-tuning of your skills.

Tony Robbins teaches us that when you apply what you have learned, there is no such thing as failure because you always get a result! If that result is not what you want, your coach, from experience, will give you the feedback and input you need to make the necessary corrections.

If you don’t take action, you have no results and your coach cannot guide you. You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going!

Living an exceptional life is a simple process. Remember it IS a process so don’t give up on the process. Here are the 7 steps:

1) Decide what you want.

2) Define it with as much detail as your imagination will allow.

3) Write it down in the form of a goal with a step-by-step plan for achievement.

4) Find a mentor and get trained.

5) Take action on your training and get a result.

6) Get coached by discussing your results with your mentor.

7) Take new actions based on the feedback from your coach.

Simply keep repeating steps 5,6 and 7 until you are consistently getting the results you desire. That’s it! Now you’re ready to move to the last phase of the ATTACK formula.

K = Knowledge

Once you have mastered the ATTACK formula, you are now in a position to teach, mentor and coach others. It’s that simple!

This is my personal success formula that I have used for many years to achieve my goals and live a full life.

I hope it serves you as well as it has served me.

My 2 Word Philosophy of Success

There is a 5 word question and a 4 word answer in this article that will hit you like a ton of bricks…

IF you’re ready for it!

You can be, do and have anything you desire.

You really can.

It all boils down to one simple thing.

Taking action or not taking action on your dreams is the single foundational key to success or failure in life!

It doesn’t matter how bad you are at something you want to do, just get started and stick with it!

You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

If you’ll do that I can promise that if you do it long enough, you will be successful at it!

By longevity alone you will be successful.

I saw a “famous” comedian the other day that sums up what I’m talking about here.

I won’t mention names but this lady is a horrible comedian.

Nobody was laughing except her.

Less than halfway through the show, over half the crowd had got up and walked out.

She didn’t seem to care because she was having so much fun!

She has been in several TV sit-coms and has even been the host comedian showcasing new talent.

Incredible!

She is so well known that if I were to say her name, you would immediately know who it is, yet she has proven to have very little talent in the field she is famous for!

How can someone with little to zero talent be such a raving success?

Simple answer.

She took ACTION on her dreams!

She dreamed of being a comedian, and the “funny” part is, not having any talent hasn’t slowed her down one bit.

She knew what she wanted and went after it with a fire that nothing could put out!

More than anything else, what has made her famous is the fact that she’s been around for going on 20 years and refuses to quit!

She refuses to let anything stand in the way of her ambition and she gets herself booked doing anything and everything to get her name out there.

She is having the time of her life and is living her dreams each and every day.

How about you?

Have you given up?

Is there something you really want to do with your life but you’ve given up because you weren’t “successful” right off the bat?

Maybe you need to change your definition of success.

Sheryl Crow has a line in a song that goes “If it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad!”

Take ACTION on your dreams and NEVER give up!

That, my friends, is the true definition of a successful life.

It’s not fame, it’s not fortune, it’s having no regrets!

Let me share something personal with you.

I RARELY watch television.

Don’t want to clutter up my mind with garbage.

The other night, something told me to watch a particular show that was coming on.

Good thing I did because it was while watching that show that I heard one of the most profound statements ever.

A lady had lost an aunt to a freak accident and was very sad.

Trying to make sense of it all, she looked at the funeral director and asked

“Why Do We Have To Die?”

His simple and brilliant answer will go down in history.

He smiled, looked her deep in the eyes, and said

“To Make Life Valuable!”

Read that again.

That sentence hit me like a ton of bricks.

I was completely dumbfounded.

I immediately shut off the TV and sat there trying to absorb the lesson of all lessons.

Life is too valuable to waste it doing what you don’t want to do!

Go after your dreams with a fire and passion that nothing or no one can put out.

If you do this, your life will be a genuine masterpiece and a shining example of exceptional living!

I have been asked several times over the years how I want to be remembered when I am gone.

It is simply this…

No Regrets!

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve you.

Success Is Simple – Don’t Complicate It

The first step in attaining the success you desire is to be
prepared to know yourself better.

A serious appraisal of your life is essential to truly living
the life you desire.

If you need to get to Pittsburgh by Friday, you’ve got to know
where you’re starting from.

A serious self-appraisal may take some time to complete.

How well educated are you in the things you would like to know,
do or have?

How much effort do you put into each aspect of your life?

What are your best and worst points?

How do you choose your friends?

Your home?

Your vocation?

Your hobbies?

How do you treat your friends?

Your family?

Strangers?

How deep is your personal spirituality?

You have hundreds and hundreds of special traits, but how well
developed are each of them?

Which of your traits are the worst?

What have you accomplished over the past twenty years?

Ten years?

Five years?

Two years?

One year?

In the past month?

The past week?

Today?

Who have you hurt?

Who deserves better than you’ve given them?

And most important, how close are you now to where you hoped
you’d be when you looked ahead a year ago, five years ago,
or even as a child?

Be prepared to cry a little as you make this appraisal of your
life.

Humans are far from perfect, and even the minor goals we
set for ourselves are not achieved, and it can hurt to see
exactly where you are.

Draw upon every bit of serenity and peace you have when making
this appraisal and always keep in mind you are on a fact-finding,
not a fault-finding mission.

Whether your strengths match evenly with your weaknesses on paper
is not important. What you want is a written record of who and
what you are in as great a depth as possible, a blueprint of your
house which you can use as a base for improvement.

Great people in every field start with such a deep analysis and
revise it yearly to chart their progress, and the time and
emotion spent in such an appraisal will be chicken feed compared
to the value you will receive from it.

Next, write out a report based on your self-appraisal and
include in the report everything you ever did which you didn’t
think you could do.

THIS STEP IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL!

It will provide you with enormous inspiration when faced with a
problem you don’t think you can overcome. These are not only real-
life success stories, they are YOUR success stories, positive
proof that there’s more in you than you might think.

These experiences are the fuel you’ll use to power the bulldozers
which will move mountains in the future. Remember, even an almost-
dead battery will start a car. Have this report in writing and
keep it with your personal analysis, and make a copy in case you
lose it. This will be a vital document in times to come.

Next, decide where you want to go. Most people fail because they
don’t set goals worthy of themselves. If they do, they do not live
each day in pursuit these goals. This, along with every other step
outlined here, is absolutely vital to a truly successful life.

When you set your goals, make them better than you’ve done before,
but make them achievable. In other words, if it is at all possible
that you or someone like you could achieve the goal, it is worthy.

But don’t set them too low either, or you’ll be breezing through
life bored and unchallenged. Set goals for each day, for the next
week, month, year, two years, five years, twenty years, fifty
years (regardless of your age).

Be definite about what you want. Write your goals down and use as
much detail as possible. Make them firm… for the moment. You will
find as you achieve certain things that some goals must change, and
that’s fine. Just don’t go around changing your mind every time the
wind changes or you won’t know which way is up.

Set as many goals as you like, and include among them – what you’d
like to be doing, where you’d like to go, what you want for your
family, what kind of person you’d like to be, how much you’d like
to be earning, your net worth, your health, personality, education
and spiritual growth.

Keep your daily goals confined to activities which will lead to
accomplishment of your long-term goals. Don’t be afraid to set
goals. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes because mistakes can be
corrected. Doing nothing cannot be corrected.

The next step takes no real effort, and strangely enough, it is
the most difficult step for the average person to take and that
is to COMMIT!

Make the decision to achieve those goals, to
strive for the things you want which will make your life and
yourself all that much better. Make that commitment from the
heart, not at the lips!

It will take time to really feel that
commitment, and regularly reviewing the goals you’ve written
down will make it possible to truly feel that commitment. You’ll
go through agonies at first and wonder if any of this is really
worth it, and that’s the point most people give up.

Remember this and you’ll look forward to that agony. Every
change comes with pain. It hurts to be born, to fall in love, to
pass an exam, run a marathon.

Once you start feeling that pain, know it for what it is – your
old self screaming for life. Letyour old self win and you lose!

Once you pass through that barrier of pain between what you are
and what you want, you will know what it is worth every bit of
discomfort.

You’ve been through it before, and you’ll need the memory of
past incidents where you’ve made it to help you get through it.

You’ll need the support of others too so you’ll have to
consider the people with whom you spend most of your time.

If they are not as interested in improving themselves as you are,
it’s time to expand your circle of friends to include those people
and make them the best you could want.

Make your friends inspirations and examples to you in your quest
for a better life.

The final step is so simple and so tough it literally separates
success from failure.

You must be willing to sacrifice immediate pleasure for real
satisfaction down the road.

If you’re not ready to make the trade, you must settle for
the life you have today.

If you are ready to make the trade, spend every moment of your
life in the most effective, efficient way possible in the pursuit
of your goals.

You’ll never be able to do this as well as you will want to, but
that’s fine. Nobody spends all their time as effectively as humanly
possible.

The degree to which you can tune your desire to the things you
want and discipline yourself to do the things that lead to getting
them – will determine how successful you will be.

Regardless of how weak you are now, you can and will increase
the value your time and activities and garner more happiness
than you might think fair only if you’ll keep your failures in
perspective.

Think of them as lessons and gain something from them. Use your
successes as a well of strength on which you can draw when you’re
ready to quit.

These simple steps are the true secret to getting what you want
out of life.

It has been proven time and time again by great men and women
down trough history and will continue to do so centuries from
now. The words may change, but the ideas will be the same.

For centuries people have tried to find ways of making this
simple set of guidelines more complicated and more difficult
to understand and follow.

Many who do so have attained “success.”

Or have they?

What they really attained was less than they set out to achieve.

All because they made it harder than it actually was.

Getting what you truly want is so difficult precisely because
it is so simple.

Humans are very complex beings and thrive on making things even
more complicated.

As Jim Rohn said, “Don’t take that class.”

Keep it simple.

Follow the guidelines shared here and you will truly live the
life of your dreams.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve you.
